About Madalynn Flynn
I am a sophomore at the University of Florida studying Animal Sciences with a specialization in Animal Biology. As an animal science major and a dedicated pre-veterinary student, I enjoy gaining all the relevant experience needed to tailor my school career to my future career.I have a large variety of veterinary experience including small animal general practice, shelter medicine, equine sports medicine, and small animal specialty. Additionally, I have been exposed to the different aspects of the equine field, specifically the sport horse medicine and ownership side through owning my own competition horse for the past 7 years. I am planning on taking many different animals sciences classes to tailor and grow my skills within the animal sciences field.I am especially interested in mixed large animal medicine with a focus in equine sports medicine. I am also interested in veterinary oncology medicine, and am currently volunteering as a medical oncology technician at the University of Florida Small Animal Hospital.
