ABOUT MADALENA RIBEIRO

Hey, I’m Madalena, a dedicated and ambitious Senior New Business and Marketing Executive at MullenLowe London, where I leverage my proactive approach and passion to drive the implementation of our new business strategy 🤩In 2017 when I moved to the UK, I was not sure what marketing was. Still, I have always been obsessed with TV adverts since I was very young, while continuously being influenced by attracting packaging in the supermarkets. However, marketing surprised me immensely (and positively!). It taught me a new perspective, which allowed me to learn so much more about the world and who I am as a person and a consumer.Events have also been another big passion in my life. I have loved birthday parties, concerts and festivals since I can remember. Seeing the joy on everyone’s faces on such occasions always delighted me as making others happy makes my days worth it.What I like about both industries is how they allow me to be innovative and organised and how fast-paced they are that you never stop learning.Since then, I have: Wrote posts for my international university blog and developed an advert which was published in the British Entrepreneur Magazine 2020, May Edition ‍ Achieved a Distinction in my masters in Marketing Communications Management from Oxford Brookes🧸Organised a charity event in a group for Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, and we raised £260 for the charity. Worked as a social media and events assistant at Enterprise Hive, creating organic content for their social media channels.
