About Macy Leitzel
Hello! My name is Macy Leitzel, and I am a student engaged in courses, non-profits, and work experiences hoping to expand my knowledge in supply chain-related fields. I am a fourth-year student at Penn State University, majoring in Supply Chain Management and minoring in Information Systems Management, planning to graduate in the Spring of 2025. This year I’ve been honored with receiving Penn State’s Evan Pugh Scholars Senior Award. Working at Tailored Home, a retail store, kick started my interest in inventory management. I learned the importance of maintaining accurate inventory counts and the consequences of incorrect counts. I previously worked as a Project Management Intern at Pure Install, a third-party assembly and installation service. Microsoft Excel helped me quickly pick up on my responsibilities. My role in Penn State’s THON Merchandise Committee has allowed me to combine my passion for giving back to my community with my supply chain interests. I\'ve been selected as a THON 2025 Special Event Sales Captain. I have planned all THON Merchandise sales, including the THON 5K, Family Carnival, and THON Weekend 2025. In my free time, I enjoy strength training, running, and reading.
