In my role of Event Coordinator at Ashdown Phillips, I oversee the full lifecycle of corporate events, from the initial enquiry and planning stages through to on the day coordination, ensuring every detail runs smoothly and aligns with the client’s vision and objectives. I also prepare client invoices, process company invoices for payment, and help manage payment taking and chasing. A key part of my role is managing the operational side of events, coordinating with external suppliers such as AV and catering teams, ensuring Health & Safety compliance, and overseeing logistics to guarantee seamless execution.I contribute significantly to marketing and business growth. I manage incoming enquiries, tailor responses to client needs, and promote our venue spaces for corporate events, meetings, and private functions both in person and remotely. I also create and implement marketing content, including weekly social media posts, updated venue photography, and a quarterly newsletter, all designed to increase brand visibility, engage audiences, and generate high-quality leads.Acting as the primary point of contact, I maintain clear and consistent communication throughout the event process, ensuring a premium experience and proactively resolving any issues that arise. I also regularly identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve service delivery, and support overall business growth.This role has allowed me to combine strategic planning, operational management, and creative marketing, all while developing confidence in leading events independently, handling challenges in real time, and contributing to the success of every event we deliver.
