ABOUT MACKENZIE WANNER

I am a junior majoring in Marketing at Miami University Farmer School of Business, seeking to strengthen my professional growth and personal development through internship opportunities for the Summer 2026. Throughout my coursework at Miami, I have developed skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SQL, Python, and Access. I am eager to apply these skills within the business environment, where my growth will continue as I contribute to decision-making and strategic problem-solving. Last fall, I collaborated with teammates to develop a marketing strategy and a new product development for Rooted Grounds Coffee Company. This real-world client challenge enhanced my creative skills in brainstorming ideas, improved my adaptability in responding to feedback, and provided valuable insight into how to overcome unexpected challenges. On campus, I strive to shape my experiences by participating in a variety of clubs, cultivating well-rounded leadership skills. My involvement includes: Advancing Women of Entrepreneurship, Professional Sales Club, Director of Scholarship, and Director of Alumni Relations for a social sorority. I am honored to be elected to facilitate and mentor first-year business students as an Undergraduate Assistant. This is a selective program that focuses on allowing participants to grasp a greater understanding of community building and providing valuable perspectives/guidance. My passion for business drives me to utilize my creativity, professionalism, and leadership skills to obtain a position in the marketing field. As a student and employee, I strive to work hard and challenge myself to excel in all aspects of my daily life.
