ABOUT MACKENZIE WANICKA
My specific areas of interest within Broadcast Journalism and Television include a myriad of focuses, not limited to; Anchoring, Reporting, Guest Relations, Social Networking Accounts, and Studio Production. At the University of Alabama, I intern for WVUA23 News where I have been given the opportunity to learn from professionals in the News Media industry. Throughout the week, I am a student reporter intern where I shoot, edit, and voice my own work. In addition to working in reporting, I am able to help produce daily and nightly newcasts through working on cameras, graphics, audio, as well as teleprompter operation. Reading and listening to lectures while at Alabama, are effective educational tools, but participating in and executing ideas, is an entirely different level of learning.
