About MacKenzie Jackman

Tustin is where I have called home for most of my life; during that time I have come to find that I have a passion for people and their story. This passion has led me to many different experience that has further developed my interpersonal skills. I have volunteered in many different churches and non- profits to help better serve the common goal. As a leader in these environments I was able to see first hand what success looks like and the effect one person can have on another. Mentoring college girls and living life authentically with them through their first years at college has shown me so many things that I still continue to use in my adult life. For example, one of my first full time jobs, Blue Buoy Swim School hired me on as a lifeguard. I quickly made my way up to one of two supervisors in the company. They saw my leadership and I saw the opportunity to to push myself into something greater. I was the first person customers saw as they walked into the facility and the first person they went to when they had any needs or concerns. I hope with my next opportunity I can further show my leadership and be with a company I can truly be passionate for. I believed in Blue Buoy’s mission and I hope to soon believe in yours.
