Hello! I graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering. I spent 3 years in California working as a manufacturing engineer at Edwards Lifesciences in the heart valve product and process group. At Edwards, I was able to learn many different aspects of manufacturing including process improvements, validations, and root cause analysis. I was able to complete a Sig Sigma Black Belt certification for optimizing heart valve assembly using semi-automated sewing technology. Now, I am currently working an a manufacturing engineer at Varian in Austin, TX.
