The Association was established to work together for the development of online media and to represent publishers in the process of creating legal regulations. The signatories of the Association of Digital Publishers are Grupa WP, Ringier Axel Springer Polska, Agora, Interia Sp. z o.o. and TVN Warner Bros. Discovery. Immediately after its establishment, the Association joined the Lewiatan Confederation. The aim of the Association is to represent the interests of its members, primarily by influencing the development of the Polish and European legal systems. The legal framework and regulations should ensure equal and fair conditions for national publishers to develop and compete in the European digital market, especially in relation to global technology companies. The Association\'s plans also include activities in the field of collective management of neighbouring rights. This will be possible once a law implementing the EU Directive on Copyright and Related Rights in the Digital Single Market is adopted in 2019 and the relevant requirements under the relevant legislation are met.The Supervisory Board of the Association consists of Jacek Świderski (WP Group), Aleksander Kutela (Ringier Axel Springer Polska), Bartosz Hojka (Agora) and Dorota Żurkowska (TVN Warner Bros. Discovery).
