ABOUT ELIZABETH MACDONALD

Elizabeth Macdonald has over 17 years of experience teaching business communications to both American and international business professionals, including those from Intel, Wal-Mart, Walt Disney, Henkel, Chevron, SK, and American Express. Her background as an educator, trainer, consultant, and program director gives her a unique perspective in addressing the diverse needs of her clients. For 10 years, she worked for the US Government as an international trainer and education specialist, training new teachers and helping to create curricula in math, science, and English. She has worked with professionals in over a dozen countries throughout Europe, Asia, and Africa. She taught upwards of MBA students at the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Arizona, and is currently teaching at Sacred Heart University, preparing international students for graduate level programs. She continues to provide resume coaching to students at Thunderbird and runs a resume coaching business for private clients. Elizabeth is an author of 2 business communications textbooks used by Thunderbird, Arizona State University, and Sacred Heart University, and is an editor for one of the major publishers of business communication textbooks.Elizabeth has an MA in Teaching English to Speakers of other Languages from the Monterey Institute of International Studies in Monterey, CA, and was the Director of their ESL program and a graduate level instructor. She earned a BA in French and Sociology from Bryn Mawr College, in Bryn Mawr, PA.
