Responsible for creating a new vision, developing and implementing a strategic plan to bring the vision to fruition.In charge of the operation and direction of Naper Settlement, a nationally accredited museum. Managing all internal and external matters of the organization, including the private/public partnership between the City of Naperville and the Naperville Heritage Society (NHS), a private non-profit. Work with two boards, the Naper Settlement Museum Board (NSMB) and NHS board to develop and implement a strategic plan grounded in four main pillars: serving as an economic engine for the City, becoming a leading resource for lifelong learning, preserving the collective memory of the community, and positioning the institution as a worthwhile investment for the local and extended philanthropic community. Report to Naperville City Council and City Manager on the appropriation of city funding.

I am a Naperville resident of 20+ years and so proud to lead Naper Settlement as the President and CEO of this respected institution. I am driven by a very important mission: keep and share the identity of our community and city. My experience in not-for-profit management as a fundraiser, team-builder, and problem-solver helps me manage the day-to-day operations of our museum and develop the long-term strategic direction that will allow it to grow and transform. The work Naper Settlement does as an education provider and economic engine for our community is vital. It is my job to ensure that we Never Settle and continue to represent Naperville’s past and current population and diverse ethnic and geographical makeup.
