I contribute to set the strategic direction of our products, and implement tactical changes to support our customer\'s accelerated growth in the cloud. My engineers work remotely from 31 countries, which poses interesting managerial challenges for planning, coordination, communication, and team cohesion. On the plus side, it is delightful to talk to people all over the world on a daily basis. I am also the founder and lead of the Elastic AI-Tools Guild, a cross-functional group of people building tools, setting up guidelines and standards, and providing coaching on AI-coding for all our engineers.
