Elected into the National Native American Law Students Association (NNALSA) Executive Board as the Grants & Scholarship Coordinator for 20••••26. The Scholarship and Grants Coordinator’s responsibilities center around the fall and spring semesters where each scholarship and grant is awarded at the end of the semester. It is the Scholarship & Grant Coordinator\'s duty to prepare and facilitate a smooth scholarship process including seeking grants, and working closely with our Treasurer and Public Relations at NNALSA. Will work closely with other E-Board members, as well.

ABOUT M. TYANNE BENALLIE
I have dedicated my professional career to working with resilient populations. I carry expertise in Indigenous capacity building projects and policy in the environmental, social, education, and health sectors. For the past seventeen years, I have been working in Native American Tribal communities across the U.S. and at the federal, tribal level at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Administration for Native Americans in Washington D.C. I have traveled to 43 countries worldwide and have volunteered in underdeveloped countries. My background in International Development and Policy lends a unique approach to working with resilient populations. I offer an authentic voice and Indigenous lens for grant writing, community engagement, project management, and capacity building projects. I have worked directly on tribal reservations, including The Navajo Nation, New Mexican Pueblo Villages, and Rural Alaskan Villages. My experience includes non-profit work, federal contracting, and working at two Federal Agencies (Administration for Native Americans and The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency) in Washington, D.C. I am very well-traveled globally. I have completed volunteer work in under-developed countries (Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, and Laos). Foreign Countries: Volunteer and Education Experience- Bolivia, England, Ecuador, Laos, Peru, and Spain. My other passions include writing, music, photography, and film.
