   I am working on developing the Software Defined Network Controller for IBM Cloud.Designed and implemented a system to trace packet drops in the SDN system. The implementation of datapath packet monitoring has significantly improved our ability to identify the root cause of packet drops. This helped to reduce the MTTR from multiple hours to a few minutes.In a concise timeframe, I successfully designed and implemented drop metrics for IBM cloud datapath. This addition provides valuable insights into the points where packets are being dropped, significantly reducing the time required to diagnose and address packet drop issues. Additionally, these metrics were utilized to proactively detect anomalies, allowing us to address potential problems before they impact the end-users and are reported.
