About Reese Lolley

With decades of experience in forest conservation, restoration and fire program management, I am passionate about advancing community and ecosystem resilience. As the Strategy and Partnerships Director at Washington Resource Conservation & Development Council (WRCD), I work with diverse stakeholders at the local, state, and federal levels to co-identify issues and implement coherent solution pathways that improve fire outcomes for communities and the land we depend on.Some of the achievements that I am most proud of include: leading and co-leading the formation of seven cross-sectoral collaboratives, councils, and coalitions that delivered scaled results; providing state-level recommendations that led to legislative and policy changes in forestry and wildlife agencies and community wildland fire preparedness; supporting Washington state Latin organizations and leaders in expanding community fire resiliency solutions; and securing over $38 million in funding for conservation restoration projects. I am fueled by hope and astounded by the resiliency and potential of people and nature, and I strive to use my fire and forest ecology knowledge and policy and assessment skills to create meaningful impacts.
