   I focus on fiduciary litigation, estate tax planning, estate and trust taxation and administration, and business succession planning. I regularly advise fiduciaries, including trustees, executors, agents under powers of attorney, guardians, and conservators. I enjoy working with clients to accomplish their estate planning goals, including the preparation and administration of wills and trusts. I have extensive experience litigating will contests, will and trust construction cases, family and probate disputes, and cases which involve the misconduct of fiduciaries and the misappropriation of funds. I have handled several complex family disputes involving elective share claims, prenuptial agreements, business succession planning, and the administration of estates in multiple jurisdictions. I appear regularly in circuit courts throughout Virginia and handle appeals for cases involving wills, trusts, and fiduciaries. I work with disabled and incapacitated persons and their families in the establishment of special needs trusts and advise on guardianship and conservatorship matters.
