Technical Advisory: Serves as a primary technical advisor to build staff capacity, support project activities, and conduct relevant research related to early education systems and early learning. Supports innovation, thought leadership, and advancement, especially focused on ECERelevant example assignments include: • Technical Lead – Basic Education Activity (USAID): Provides comprehensive technical leadership and capacity building for $50mil, 4-year USAID-funded education activity, focused on advancing early childhood education, social-emotional learning, and remedial education in Palestine (West Bank, Gaza, and East Jerusalem).• Education Finance and Policy Advisor – Nigeria LEARN (USAID): Advised and supported local staff on program activities related to education finance in Adamawa, Sokoto, and Bauchi states, including a comprehensive Political Economy Analysis and completion of each state’s annual State Education Account analyses and reports.• ECE Strategy Lead: Contribute to company technical depth and consistent/current knowledge base for ECD/E, including developing briefs, leading discussions, and presenting on emerging evidence, research, best practice, and promising new approaches; and represents Creative externally via international conferences and participation in domestic and international ECD working groups and networks. Business Development: Technical Lead Writer for education proposals with a variety of clients and donors. Requires commercial analysis of prospects, analysis of risk, competitive advantage, in-depth contextual background research into upcoming opportunities – including multiple trips to target country/community to meet with stakeholders and support deep contextual understandings of local education issues.
