As the Program Coordinator for the No Hit Zone (NHZ) initiative, a key child abuse prevention program, I drive program expansion, stakeholder engagement, and educational outreach across two regional pediatric hospitals. My work focuses on embedding principles of positive parenting and non-violent conflict resolution into hospital policy, clinical practice, and community partnerships.Strategic Training & Education: Spearheaded a comprehensive training strategy, delivering direct instruction to clinical teams across 2 major pediatric hospitals and implementing a \"train-the-trainer\" model for community partner leadership to scale program reach and ensure sustainability.Policy Development & Integration: Authored and championed the integration of the No Hit Zone mission into the official Code of Conduct policies for Hackensack University Medical Center (HUMC) and Jersey Shore Medical Center (JSMC), embedding non-violent principles at an institutional level.Grant Management & Program Growth: Collaborated with program leadership on the full grant lifecycle, from identifying new funding opportunities to managing grant compliance, writing quarterly progress reports, and providing data-driven recommendations for capacity building and program expansion.Community Engagement & Resource Development: Cultivated a robust network of new and existing community partners while curating a comprehensive resource library (including workshops, videos, and support groups) for parents and staff on positive parenting and non-physical discipline, reaching hundreds of families.Financial & Operational Oversight: Partnered with the Administrative Director to manage the program budget, overseeing all material and consultant expenditures to ensure alignment with grant requirements and strategic objectives.
