ABOUT MARIAM JABARA

A problem solver at heart, and by trade. I have a strong background in research - specifically at the crossroads of the sciences and computer programming. Diverse experiences in industry and academia have allowed me to gain a unique background of knowledge, and have collectively taught me how to learn - deeply, efficiently, and broadly. I graduated with my Masters from McGill University, where I developed a machine learning model for early detection of type 2 diabetes from electrocardiogram data. Previously, I completed an Honours degree in Biomedical Science and Computer Science at the University of Ottawa. It was in my bachelor\'s degree that I learned about the many ways programming can be applied to the field of healthcare. From that point on, my passion was sparked and I became set on being part of the transformation occurring in the field. My experiences in both industry and academia have allowed me to gain a unique set of skills, and hone my ability to adapt myself to the task at hand.
