Leading a team of ~100 professionals across seven key areas: raw materials, finished/semi-finished products, microbiology, cleaning validation, follow-up stability (FUS), equipment, and metrology.Key Responsibilities:• Oversee laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards• Manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets effectively• Supervise OOS, OOT investigations and drive continuous improvement• Lead deviation management, CAPA plans, and gap analysis for the QC lab• Manage R&D in resolving quality-related challengesLaboratory Scope & Expertise:• Physical chemistry & microbiological testing of raw materials and finished products• Environmental microbial surveillance of pharmaceutical production sector• Qualification & validation of laboratory instruments• Analytical method development (e.g, HPLC for cleaning validation)• Stability studies for released products• Testing of solid, liquid, and injectable pharmaceuticals
