ABOUT AMINE BENDJEDDOU
Currently, I am working as an intern at Agrauxine by Lesaffre, in Angers, France, serving as an Assistant Product Manager for Agricultural Biosolutions. As part of the Lesaffre Group, Agrauxine develops biobased solutions made from microorganisms such as yeasts, fungi, and bacteria to support and protect crop production. Its product portfolio covers biocontrol, biostimulation, and bionutrition, all contributing to a more sustainable and resilient agriculture. At the end of 2024, I joined the University of Paris-Saclay, in Paris, France, for a six-month course in Innovation and Quality in Plant Production. This experience strengthened my knowledge in marketing, market analysis, and competitive watch for agricultural products and services. I also deepened my understanding of regulations related to plant protection products and fertilizers. Moreover, I was engaged in various case studies and field visits focused on enhancing agricultural practices. 20••••24, Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Specialist graduated from CIHEAM Bari, Italy. My graduation project focused on innovative biocontrol strategies for managing grey mould (Botrytis cinerea) in table grapes and strawberries during pre- and postharvest stages. This comprehensive work involved laboratory activities, including in vitro and in vivo efficacy trials of biocontrol agents, field and greenhouse trials of bioformulations like biostimulants and bio-fungicides, and the use of advanced tools such as LAMP for molecular detection and R software combined with AI for evaluating disease infections. 2021, Agronomic Engineer – Phytopathologist, graduate of the National Higher School of Agronomy (ENSA) in Algiers, Algeria. I completed five years of higher education in agronomic sciences, specializing in Plant Diseases and Plant Protection. My final thesis focused on the use of biocontrol agents against post-harvest citrus molds. Beyond the solid academic training, I gained valuable experience through internships, workshops, and university events. I was also actively involved in student life as head of external relations for Agronova, a scientific club at ENSA. These experiences helped me develop both personally and professionally.
