ABOUT LYSK WYCKOFF
I have a background in biomedical engineering, earning my Bachelor of Science in Engineering Degree and my Master of Engineering Degree from Duke University, where I concentrated in Molecular, Cellular, & Tissue Engineering; Biomechanics & Biomaterials; and Computational Modeling. I am a young professional with experience in research, product design, and biotechnology innovation. My research encompasses the areas of microbiology, biomechanics, and multiphysics modeling, including work with CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing in zebrafish, head kinematics, spinal mechanics, and an array of biological systems computational modeling. I have experience with product design through working as a design consultant and through working as a product development engineer. In terms of biotech innovation, I created the design, development timeline, and commercialization plan for a novel medical device. In addition to this, I have filed a patent for a medical device that I designed.My extensive technical education is complemented with business fundamentals and industry management, which has led me to my current role at GLG. As a Research Manager in Client Solutions, I leverage GLG’s expansive network of experts to provide insight to clients in the medical device and diagnostics space.
