About Lyra Thomas
I am the Poetry Editor at Crab Orchard Review and an Editorial Intern at RHINO Lit Mag, two respected literary magazines that publish diverse and innovative voices in poetry. I am also a Master of Arts student in Creative Writing at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, where I received the Graduate Dean\'s Fellowship for outstanding academic performance and diversity. My passion for poetry and editing drives me to seek new opportunities in the publishing and academic fields, where I can apply my skills in attention to detail, critical thinking, and copywriting. I have gained valuable experience in digitizing poems, voting on submissions, and updating publishing opportunities for poets through my internships and volunteer work. I am eager to learn more, grow professionally, and contribute to the literary community. I look forward to graduating in May 2024 and exploring new possibilities.
