As the HR COO I am accountable for HR Financials; including Annual Operating plans, monthly forecasting, internal recharging and the application of financial controls to ensure the function remains efficient. I oversee risks within the function, both from a 1st and 2nd line of defence and operate a robust governance structure to ensure controls are effective and risks mitigated. I drive the performance of HR\'s services into the operating banks and ensure processes are simple and meet expectations. I am accountable for managing and ensuring the operational continuity and resilience of HR Operations in the UK. Perhaps most importantly I am a Senior Leader providing direction, clear communication, coaching and ongoing support to a team of HR professionals. I execute and oversee change, from internal Organisation Transformation to bank-wide programmes such as the implementation of IR35 legislation. Most recently I continue to lead HR\'s response to Covid-19 in the UK.
