ABOUT LYNSEY MICHELLE

I’m a northern working class Director, Producer, Performer, and Arts Leader passionate about building platforms for creativity, connection, and community.In November 2023, I co-founded Unseen Arts CIC and opened Grimsby’s first aerial arts centre, transforming an empty dockside building into a thriving hub for performance and creativity. In less than a year, we’ve grown at remarkable speed –delivering aerial circus, visual arts, digital art, dance-theatre, producing-scale arts events, classes outreach, collaborating with local/national partners, and launching programmes that give emerging artists the tools, training, and confidence to thrive.I trained as a performer in theatre In London and my career spans producing, directing, performing, and teaching. I specialise in creating immersive, inclusive, and impactful experiences from staging community-led spectacles to designing arts programmes. With experience on both the creative and producing sides of the arts, I bridge the gap between vision and delivery overseeing everything from concept development and funding bids to artist liaison and production management.
