ABOUT LYNN KINSELLA
I\'m a Computer Engineering graduate from McMaster University with a certificate in UX Design from York University. I have 16 months of development experience under my belt from internships at IBM Canada as well as a UX project under my belt with Flip & Floss, and now I am looking to put that experience to work in a full time position. I have a passion for UX design! Whether that be working with UX designers on a UI project, or working as a UX designer, I am passionate about bringing the best possible experience to users. I believe that the best experiences are built by challenging as assumptions about users as possible. I have strong teamwork, leadership and decision making skills from my time as President of Future Blue, IBM\'s intern led events team, as well as 4 years of life-guarding and teaching swimming lessons. I am an expert in mocking up interactive prototypes in Figma, and I am confident in my ability to plan, execute, and analyze the results of usability tests, user interviews, and other research tools. I have experience with back end and front end software development, working in Java, Python, JavaScript and Typescript, node.js, and C, as well as experience writing embedded software with C and C++.
