About Lynne Wagner
If one had to choose a catchphrase that captured the essence and the passion of my personality, mine would be,\"Good morning, Sunshine!\" While the sun may not be shining, the day begins anew every morning and I find myself eager to greet the challenges that it may bring forth. Of course, I do enjoy announcing that little phrase with a beaming smile and an ultra peppy voice, but caffeine is not included. I\'ve started a career as a youth & teen services manager at one of my favorite places in the world- the library! It allows me to work with a large number of people, enables me to teach others in some capacity, and permits me to utilize some of those social media, marketing, and networking skills that I\'ve developed over the past decade. I\'ve just started an MLIS degree at Kent State University with a focus in Youth Engagement: Information, Culture, and Community Pathway. Creating fun programming and campaigns to reach out to my patrons and families is an essential part of my job and an important foundation to community support. I\'m passionate about teaching and really enjoy showing people something new about something that they\'ve used a million times before (best tip to identify passive voice in your writing? use \"by zombies\" after the verb.). My graduate research focused on social networking and the development and maintenance of long-distance romantic relationships. It\'s pretty fair to say that I enjoy social networking and am always willing to meet new people, so feel free to message if you\'d like to chat about social media, higher education, marketing, or if you just want some more fun grammar tips! Specialities: Communication, Sales, Editing, Programming, Social Media Marketing, Event Management, Writing, Leadership Development, Social Media, Workshop and Presentation Development, Reader Advisory, Public Speaking, Career Mentoring, Tutoring, English Instruction
