2019-present Enterprise Solutions, Inc,(Temporary Agency – Temporary Buyer) Middletown, VA BUYER AT THERMO FISHER SCIENTIFIC • Procurement of Direct Materials and MRO goods and services for Thermo Fisher Scientific, utilizing SAP software. • Managed the scheduling and expediting of Labels for Thermo Fisher’s finished product, to meet critical production deadlines. • Work with vendors to ensure that all products purchased through them are of consistent quality and meet required delivery schedules. • Monitor inventory levels and fluctuating scheduling dates and make purchasing decisions based on Thermo Fisher’s changing supply requirements. • Assist with implementing changes in adhesive stock among multiple suppliers for many different label material numbers to comply with new customer specificaitons. • Run and analyze various reports including Open Purchase Order reports, Excaption reports, Problem Raw reports and other repotts in SAP and Microsoft Excel. • Timely follow through with Planners and Value Stream key stakeholders regarding changes in delivery schedules and tracking information for printed labels. • Process Change Orders for new and revised label materials, including setting up new materials in SAP and following up with supervisor to ensure manager signoffs in Master Control. • Provide assistance to the other team members in the purchasing department as needed.
