About Lynne Firmin George
With over ten years of experience in sales, service, marketing, and operations across various sectors, including athletics, hospitality, events, and higher education, I am passionate about relationship-building and creative collaboration to drive business growth and revenue. My core competencies include partner relationship management, marketing, sales, higher education teaching, guest lecturing, event management, and project coordination.As the director of IDEA Bank, a multi-disciplinary resource for entrepreneurial-minded students at Troy University, I lead the program\'s mission to foster the growth of student entrepreneurs by offering business advising, sales and marketing support, special-topic workshops, speaking engagements, connections to community partners and resources, and general encouragement and support. I also teach courses on marketing, personal branding, revenue generation, and sport management, sharing my knowledge and expertise with the next generation of business leaders. I am motivated by the opportunity to help students realize their potential and achieve their goals, while contributing to the innovation and development of the Troy University community.
