Lynne Walker is the founder and Managing Member of Connect Consulting, LLC. Prior to forming the company, Lynne had an extensive career in corporate, commercial and treasury banking and achieved success in high-level profit center (P&L) leadership roles as an executive at major banking institutions, including Wachovia (now Wells Fargo), First Citizens and First Horizon. She also created and led a strategy to increase access to capital and business acumen for women, minority, and small businesses. During her last five years at First Horizon, Lynne developed a unique inclusion vision and revenue-based strategy that focused on benefitting the company and all its talent, markets and underserved prospective clients. The strategy included:1) A focus on women with wealth, yielding over $240M in closed business within 3 years 2) Increasing the diversity of talent in credit decisioning and profit center (P&L) roles based on feedback from current and prospective clients3) Strategically engaging with multicultural customers to increase client acquisition and revenue opportunities4) Improving vendor diversity from 11% in 2015 to 15% in 2017 and,5) Increasing the number of white females and people of color in top three salary levels from 36% to 48% in three yearsLynne has been recognized with numerous awards and accolades, including: The Annual Diversity Leader Award and Annual Women Worth Watching awards from Diversity Journal; An international Gold and Silver Stevie® Award for Female Executive of the Year-Consumer Services and Female Executive of the Year-Business Services, respectively The SBA’s Financial Services Advocate of the Year Fortune’s Great Place to Work for All Leadership Award Top 100 most influential women in corporate America by Savoy Magazine
