ABOUT LYNNE PITWOOD

With over 25 years of work experience in various sectors, and a genuine passion for people, I am a strategic leader who drives customer-centric culture and experience transformation using both research and data. I am motivated by making a positive impact; for customers, colleagues, the organisation and the community. I design innovative insight solutions to deliver change programs which enhance satisfaction, loyalty and retention. I am fully conversant in quantitative and qualitative research techniques and combine this with my analytical data skills to create a deep understanding of customer needs, preferences, and behaviours. In addition to my research credentials, I have a strong background in data marketing, having created several single customer views and implemented marketing campaign tools to increased customer engagement, acquisition, and retention.The output is the creation of value propositions that align with both the customers’ requirements and the organisation\'s vision and values. Since completing my first degree in Business Studies and gaining two post graduate diplomas from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Market Research Society, I have been committed to my own personal development throughout my career. This has covered courses on various topics such as segmentation, customer profiling, GIS and sales techniques. But I continue to push myself to learn new things, being almost at the end point of a level 7 apprenticeship where I will attain Chartered Manager status from the CMI, and a final year of studying ahead of me to complete a Master of Science degree in Strategic Leadership from Loughborough University. This has been such valuable learning and provided a new perspective and sense of self-awareness.
