   Provide administrative support to Media Arts Department, including department head, faculty and students• Act as a liaison between faculty and students • Arrange travel requests and hotel accommodations for faculty and visitors to the University • Hire and supervise work study students, including the timely submittal of signed time sheets)• Assist with the production of art exhibitions; including catering, compiling an entry submission list, and make the necessary department contacts to facilitate the event occurring smoothly• Maintain and review student records and check sheets as needed• Manage expense forms, teaching contracts, book orders, purchase orders, and supplies’ inventory • Monitor the gallery, handle printer/copier/computer service calls, catering for meetings, attend meetings when required, and taking minutes• Create templates for a weekly class schedule for each semester• Act as a trouble shooter (contacting the appropriate people to handle problems, i.e: computer issues, printer/copier issues, physical plant problems, and questions concerning Human Resource issues)Provided the reception planning, shopping and set-up for any exhibitions held by the Media Arts Department at Robert Morris University, since my hire in 2004. Filled in for Department Head on occasion at Transfer Student Advisement Day.
