First class BA (Hons) Degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy. Specialism -Bereavement. Qualified in July 2017, as a Person-centred/Experiential Counsellor/PsychotherapistInterest in personal development groups. Previously worked as a School Counsellor for Young Persons Advisory Service and Private Practice working with adults and children. Worked at Wigan Council for over 25 years in various Administrative roles including Clerk/Typist, Receptionist, Administrative Assistant in various sections of Social Services including Area Office, Child Protection -attending and minuting child protection case conferences, Finance, Human Resources, Occupational Therapy and Financial Assessment Officer completing home visits to vulnerable service users and completing benefit claim forms/joint working with the Pension Service.
