I love a good story, and as an experienced professional writer and journalist, I have had the humbling opportunity to learn and write about the talented and resilient people that make metro Detroit the great place that it is. Many stories of innovation and business savvy - plus my own essays and columns - have been published in major dailies, community newspapers and national magazines. I have several years of writing and editing experience, specializing in feature articles, newsletters and op-ed pieces, plus writing and editing content for Web sites. Recently, I have had an essay published in the anthology, Feisty after 45 - The Best Blogs from Midlife Women. Because the writing business has evolved, I have expanded into social media, with an online presence to include blogging, Facebook and Twitter. It is rewarding to guide clients as they learn to use and understand the benefits of social media. Specialties: Blessed with the gift to gab, one of my abilities is to put interview subjects at ease, especially when subjects haven\'t had any experience with the media. Everyone has a story to tell, and I treat all with respect and compassion. In addition to articles, essays, ghost writing, blogging and more, I also write and distribute press releases for small businesses and non-profits.
