Don’t Settle for Status Quo: I always seek faster, better ways of doing things, such as helping my department improve productivity in pricing procedures by 80% by working with IT to automate monthly derivative pricing procedures—one of many ways I have helped my company save time and money.3. Stay Positive and Build Great Relationships: Some say that my enthusiasm for accounting is infectious. I have a “can-do” attitude. I am a people person by nature and build strong relationships with my team.4. Always Keep Learning: Once I earned my CPA, I didn’t stop. In the same year, I earned my Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified Financial Manager (CFM), and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credentials.
