I plan, coordinate, collaborate, and direct all aspects of the Veterans Local Government Management Fellowship to include: Establishing agreements with Department of Defense, the seven Armed Services, and their subordinate installations; Working with the Director of Transition Assistance Programs on each installation; Collaborating with Soldier for Life and other programs to help market the Veterans Fellowship SkillBridge Program; Managing the Fellowship Web page and corresponding to all application inquiries; Creating and Posting the Fellowship Application as well as reviewing all applicants and placing them with Host organizations; Recruiting Host organizations to mentor every Fellow; Establishing Program Policies and procedures; Creating the Program Budget and Marketing Plan. In addition, I am responsible for Six Web based Coaching Classes each year focused on six target areas of Ethics, Career Building, Skill Development, Leadership, Work Place Development, and Community Outreach. This involves running the platform for the class and working with the facilitator and State Based sponsors to recruit Instructors for each session. Finally, I manage the ICMA Conference Scholarships, which are awarded to individuals who require assistance with conference registration and travel costs.

I am highly motivated and decisive individual who operates with little to no guidance and brings leadership and organization to teams in order to improve business practices and get results. My strengths are leadership, organization, problem solving, and bringing those with different view points together to accomplish a common goal. I hope to use these skills to help make the community I live in a better place. I served in the military and now I love serving in a different way - as a Senior Program Manager for International City Management Associations (ICMA) Veterans Programs.
