My experience as a judge pro tempore at Civil District Court for the Parish of Orleans, Louisiana, along with my ability to find consensus, provided good training to serve as a mediator or arbitrator. My most recent experience a judge pro tempore for the Louisiana Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals gave me a great opportunity to work with smart, seasoned judges and I am appreciative of their warm welcome and the mentorship extended to me. I was again honored to be named as a court appointed mediator for the Hurricane Ida claims by the Eastern District of Louisiana, the Civil District Court for the Parish of Orleans, and the 24th Judicial District of Louisiana, Parish of Jefferson, which gave me the opportunity to work with many attorneys to resolve coverage disputes between policyholders and insurance carriers.
