ABOUT LYN-MARIE F.

I help BIPOC leaders use their stories to lead from the inside out so that they learn to trust their talents and their voice. Through coaching and facilitating learning experiences to leaders, managers, industry professionals and new grads, I help them discover and own what makes them unique as a gateway to trusting and mindfully aiming their talents. With over a decade leadership experience, I understand the complexities that BIPOC leaders face. I am passionate about helping emerging BIPOC leaders and their teams unlock their potential and maximize performance in alignment with their organization\'s mission and purpose. Narratives Coaching & Consulting is rooted in the idea that our stories give rise to our personal power and direction. We focus on helping people own and tell their stories revealing all the ways in which these stories contribute to their personal power. Unlocking our power helps us gain clarity of purpose and builds the courage we need to challenge limiting beliefs and ways of knowing. Working with leaders and organizations on how we can enhance leadership skills, build stronger teams and hold space for the voices of the underrepresented and underestimated is at the core of what I do. My experience is in higher education, student development advising and people leadership. I am best when working in collaborative and curious environments where people are driven and unafraid to discover, question, learn and unlearn. Throughout my career, I’ve led teams of up to 70 people, managed large scale community building and learning programs for thousands of students, designed and facilitated organizational learning and development opportunities, developed strategic objectives grounded in equity, diversity and inclusion, and cultivated human-centric and empathetic work spaces. I believe that each of us has a story to tell and often don\'t know how, when or where to share it. Narratives is not just about revealing how our stories feed into who we are, but also about how they feed into who we want to become.
