About Lyn Jeffress
As a coach and a consultant, I have had a life-long passion for helping others discover and release their potential – and, live the life of which they’ve dreamed.What\'s exciting about the Career Transition consulting work that I\'m doing is the confluence of my extensive background in business operations, leadership development, Human Resource systems, and Executive coaching. These experiences are essential in meeting my clients where they are - or want to be. I have successfully attained both a Master\'s Degree in Leadership and an MBA. Additionally, I received my coaching certification from the Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara. I have had the pleasure of studying with such visionary thinkers such as Martin Seligman, Stephen R. Covey, David L. Cooperrider, and Katherine Benziger—as well as Stephen Simon (Producer of such movies as “Somewhere in Time” and “What Dreams May Come”).Prior to coming on board with Lee Hecht Harrison - the global leader in talent management systems- my business career spanned thirty+ years in various Hospitality Industry organizations. My corporate experience includes both privately & publicly held companies; both vertically & horizontally integrated organizations; crisis management & recovery; as well as experience in the transition of business model from corporate-owned to franchise.I have worked with individuals at all levels of these organizations from the entry level worker to the Chairman of the Board. I am comfortable in any setting and I hold a deep appreciation for the individual doing the job. As a facilitator, my focus has been on helping individuals, teams and/or organizations discover and maximize the core talent of each person. My work with teams has resulted in increased understanding of the contributions and style of each team member.
