As the Compliance & Recycling Director at Scotland, I was responsible for the application and the follow up stage of our Waste Management Licence. As I started at the beginning of the company’s waste journey, I was able to get involved with every aspect of the setup. Utilising my experience and knowledge, I aim to turn Scotland into the Scottish centre of excellence for repair and recycling. I am responsible for the ISO systems for the business and all associated KPI targets. In addition, I undertake ongoing maintenance and monitoring of our Waste Management Licence, Approved Authorised Treatment Facility Licence and our Waste Carriers Licence. Currently, the company is also working towards Information Security Standard System ISO 27001.Alongside offering recycling and secure data destruction services, I am working with individual clients and helping them achieve Zero Waste status by diverting materials, which would normally be disposed of, through the potential route of repair and reuse.
