I had the opportunity to lead the development of a comprehensive digital literacy curriculum designed to empower learners with essential 21st-century skills. As part of the Bachelor of Business Administration Degree, this program covers key areas such as online safety, digital communication, information evaluation, and responsible technology use—tailored to meet the needs of diverse learners in today’s digital world.From aligning learning outcomes with real-world applications to integrating interactive and inclusive teaching strategies, this curriculum is built to foster confidence, critical thinking, and lifelong digital competence.

ABOUT LYNDSAY KOWALICK

Lyndsay is a creative thinker and is always ready to tackle a new challenge. Her passion for business analysis, strategic planning, and facilitation has led to many successes within her career. She is an advocate for challenging the norm and finding ways to drive efficiency through an organization. She enjoys working with teams to assist them in making better business decisions and implement value-added solutions. She is known for her ability to gain consensus among groups. As a Business Analyst, she is able to deconstruct, evaluate and improve workflows through the gathering and analysis of requirements. Improvements are easily communicated due to her ability to utilize and apply various modeling techniques to share with the stakeholders. As an Instructor at Mount Royal University Lyndsay has proven her ability to deliver clear, concise and meaningful direction to her students. Due to her ability to take theory and apply it to everyday situations Lyndsay was tasked with authoring three programs used within the Mount Royal University Continuing Education Faculty. Her success in the classroom resulted in a position on the Board of Advisors Committee to oversee Mount Royal\'s Business Analysis Program. Outside of teaching and working full time her keen interest in business development has led Lyndsay to donate her time to many Non-Profit organizations that focus on entrepreneurship and personal development. Most recently Lyndsay volunteered as the Vice President of Professional Development for the IIBA Calgary Chapter. She enjoys her time volunteering because it continuously exposes her to new tools and techniques and approaches to problem-solving. Lyndsay describes herself as a lifelong student and lives by the philosophy \"Never Stop Learning, because Life Never Stops Teaching\".
