About Lynda Risser

In my current role, I lead the HR Business Partner teams that support our business, technology and investment teams. I also lead our organizational effectiveness teams that provide expert consulting on business transformations, change management and organization design. I’ve led the Talent & Inclusion center of expertise for Vanguard. My organization provides deep subject matter expertise across the talent lifecycle around talent acquisition, performance management, learning and development, and career and succession planning. Prior to leading Talent and Inclusion, I served as a Human Resource Business Partner for several different divisions at Vanguard, consulting with Managing Directors and driving divisional human capital strategies to enable business results. Under my leadership, Vanguard has expanded the Leadership Development rotational programs, executed on company-wide leadership symposium, and record high recruiting numbers for our Retail Investor Group. My career in human resources began in the health care industry, supporting staffing and strategic management recruiting. I hold a bachelor’s degree in business and psychology from Albright College, a master’s degree in training and organizational development from St. Joseph’s University, and the Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR ®) certification.
