Responsible for forecasting, ordering and allocation of all materials used in the Vodafone radio telephony network, together with departmental support of SAP and Oracle inventory systems.Key responsibilities include:Monitoring stock levels and demand patterns, and analysing usage trends. Designing and creating a forecasting model based on this informationCompiling monthly usage forecasts, and aligning to budgets and rollout targetsDetermining stock order requirements, and expediting orders placed on suppliersDriving redeployment and re-use of stock to reduce network build costsLiaising with warehousing and logistics companies, and dealing with any problems Creating and maintaining site build templates for a team of materials allocation techniciansDesigning and creating a KPI reporting suite, and generating associated performance reports and auto-analysis functionalityKey user and departmental support for SAP and Oracle inventory systems, including data maintenance, regression testing, fault handling, and staff training.
