ABOUT LYN MILLINGTON

I have had responsibilities in Health and Safety throughout my career so I decided to gain some formal qualifications in Health & Safety with NEBOSH General certificate in occupational health and safety management and IOSH recognised managing risk and most recently SMSTS. NEBOSH Well-being, FAA level 3 first aid at work. Mental health first aid in the workplace Level 2 ofqual. After many years of train the trainer certificates I decided to sit a formal training qualification in AET (PTLLS) Currently studying NEBOSH construction certificate. I have managed large solo site stores (420 people) and I have held area and regional roles managing small and medium sized teams remotely covering London and Home Counties so I consider myself to be a good communicator, methodical and organised. Throughout my career I have been involved in store openings, recruitment, staff training, performance management, health and safety and I have held full P and L responsibilities including Restaurants and coffee shops. I am a holder of a personal alcohol license. I am motivated, I lead by example and inspire my team, driving individuals to be the very best they can in order to achieve personal development plans and company goals and KPI\'s.
