About Lyman Chuck Taylor
Chuck is a 1998 graduate from George Mason University School of Law in Arlington, Virginia and joined the Hoosier Lottery in January of 2015 as Director of Legal Affairs and Compliance. Prior to his current position, Chuck served as a Section Chief with the Office of Attorney General for nine years and spent several years in private practice.During his tenure at the Office of the Attorney General, Chuck served in the Advisory Section, Complex Litigation Section, and their Identity Theft Unit. His duties included advising various State Agencies, investigating fraudulent activity, and serving as General Counsel to the Hoosier Lottery. Chuck worked to establish the Attorney General’s Identity Theft Unit in January 2008 and was also appointed Section Chief of the Consumer Mediation section in 2010. Chuck has given presentations at numerous venues and continuing legal education events throughout Indiana and other parts of the United States.Specialties: Privacy law; identity theft prevention, investigation, and prosecution; data breach investigation and enforcement; consumer fraud education; and lottery/gaming law.
