Within 3 months of being hired into a technical role on the Growth team, I was elevated to lead the Competitiveness MAT (Mission-Aligned Team), a cross-functional team of 15 focused on pricing, backend rate architecture, and partner API connections within our Travel vertical. I own my team\'s roadmap by defining our quarterly OKRs, leading bi-weekly sprint planning & priority setting, writing our PRDs, running our experiments, and communicating our strategy and results in presentations to the executive team and to the entire company. Specific accomplishments include- Led the crisis response to a critical compliance issue that threatened our most profitable channel. My hands-on leadership in resolving the data accuracy challenges preserved $4.7M in quarterly revenue- Stepped in to fill gaps during personnel changes on the analytics team, working closely with engineering to iterate on our RL pricing product (including integrating subscription LTV into the reward model) which resulted in a 75% lift in revenue- Built custom dashboards, SQL queries, and alerts across data sources including Amplitude, Looker, Snowflake, and Datadog that proactively identified business risks. In one example, I caught a vendor’s bug that had gone unidentified by them or any of their other partners, saving us 1k daily bookings- Regularly conducting user journey dogfooding and engaging with customer feedback has uncovered bug fixes and new feature opportunities. For instance, I identified a problem with our rate filtering logic that had been preventing 4% of users from getting our best rates- Using LLMs routinely for many use cases, e.g. generating Python script.
