To identify key metrics and pave the path for improvement in all areas of production through a blend of mastery of the Lean and Creative Silicon Valley inspired principles, building of team, innovation and visual benchmarks.ACCOMPLISHMENTS:•Recruited and hand picked to be interviewed by Elon for the start up of Tesla Factory at Fremont, CA. Created the foundation models of the MBOM, Variant Configuration Option Codes, Scrap Process and Change Control for The Tesla Plant. Over saw the execution of every custom customer order from the Body\'s Fabrication to Delivery.•Led 3 over sea projects to bring and establish new products, equipment and processes to the US for Kawasaki. Trained to operate the process in Japan, broke it down and escorted it to the US, then reassembled the equipment in the US. Responsible for the safety, startup, training, quality, production, standard job, work instructions, 5S and training of all members.•Proposed, negotiated, and implemented blanket PO’s with strategic venders. Committed to purchase a minimal amount materials spread over time based on a blend of firm orders, business plan and forecast in exchange for the vender to hold 2 weeks stock at their facility. Created Milk Runs to replenish our small onsite stocks as depleted by kanban. •With the simultaneous departure of two planners the work load of all three positions was passed to me. Analyzing the work flow I immediately began to stream line the processes. I wrote code to automatically down load and compile the demand plan from 100s of OEMs. Macros were made to generate solid production plans and uploaded them to the run MRP. The amount of time required to update all plans went from one week for 3 salaried members to one day for one person. This logic was used to build the 3rd generation of Kawasaki MRP and eliminated 2 salaried positions.
