ABOUT LYLA M.
I am currently pursuing a bachelor\'s degree in health sciences, with a focus on child health, at McMaster University, and expect to graduate in 2026. I am interested in the field of pediatrics, and aspire to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of children and families. As a hostess at Milestones Grill + Bar for more than two years, I have honed my skills in customer service, communication, and teamwork. I greet and seat guests, manage reservations, and assist the servers and managers in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. I also work as a private tutor for more than four years, helping students of various ages and levels with subjects such as math, science, French, and English. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and passion for learning with others, and adapting my teaching methods to suit their needs and goals. In addition, I have gained valuable experience during co-op as a front desk receptionist at Orvosi, a medical clinic, where I handled phone calls, bookings, payments, and medical records for three months in 2021. I am fluent in both English and French, and have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and grow.
