ABOUT LYDIA PEARCE
Criminal Barrister. I completed a mixed practice pupillage in 2018 and continued to practice in crime, civil and family law for the first 3 years of practice before specialising in Crime. I prosecute and defend cases. I was called to the bar in 2017 having been awarded 2 Harmsworth Scholarships and a Blackstones Entrance Exhibition Award. Following completion of the BPTC I was seconded to the National Police Chiefs Council as a legal adviser during the implementation of the new police bail law. I studied the BPTC and GDL part-time whilst working in police custody full time. Prior to this I ran a successful PR business which specialised in growing SMEs both from scratch and assisting ailing businesses.
