ABOUT LYDIA B.
Planning Officer at Croydon Council working in Development Management. My professional background spans social policy, safeguarding, and data analysis in roles where I worked to improve outcomes for vulnerable families and children with complex interactions with public services. That grounding now shapes how I approach planning: as a discipline that has the power to make places more sustainable, inclusive, and conducive to community well-being.Looking ahead, I am working towards chartered membership of the RTPI, building the expertise and experience needed to help Croydon grow in ways that reflect the needs and aspirations of its residents.
